Set Up Your Own Hosting Account and WordPress Site

Each business owner should own their own online hosting services. Gone are the days of being held hostage to a website designer who owns your domain and website. If you, as a client, decide to part ways with your designer, good luck getting your domain and website back.

In House Graphics believes each business owner should be in control of their own online services. From domain hosting to email and website services, you should have 100% control.

Below are steps to set up your own hosting account on Website Domain Service.

Step 1:

Go to www.websitedomainservice.com to create your own hosting account. Click on “Sign In” then “Create Account” in the upper left corner of home page to begin.

Step 2:

Step 3:

After creating account, return to the home page and click on “Start Shopping” then choose “Hosting” from top menu and “WordPress” in the dropdown menu.

Step 4:

We recommend “WordPress Ultimate” WordPress Hosting. Choose this option and then click “Add To Cart.”

Benefits include:

  • Daily backups with a simple restore process
  • SFTP available for server side adjustments
  • Malware and security scanning included

Step 5:

Adding a Standard SSL Certificate is also recommended (but not mandatory). An SSL certificate adds additional security to your website and helps to improve the website’s search engine optimization (SEO).

To find the SSL, at the top of the page, choose “Security” then choose “SSL” from the dropdown.

The Standard SSL (1-Site) option is ideal for a single site.

Scroll back to the top of page and click “Checkout Now” in upper right corner. Follow the payment process to complete your order.
